Dr Kavita Pathak, Director of Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow, grew up in the City of Nawabs. 
She pursued her education in the city, which was conservative in her childhood days, with the support of her father and later her mother. He helped her realise her dreams and pursue higher education.
She has seerved as dean for student affairs, academics, learning for all 4 campuses, and is associated with the Jaipuria group for almost 30 years.
Her views on women and equality in society are inspiring and note-worthy. She believes in the fact that equality begins at home and preaching the male child about equality will solve all the problems.
