Research is the lifeblood of academia—it fuels innovation, challenges assumptions, and expands the frontiers of knowledge. It empowers educators and students alike to move beyond textbooks and contribute meaningfully to society's evolving needs.

On the fifth day of OIP 2025 at Jaipuria Lucknow, the spotlight turned to Research Orientation in Management Education, a session designed to instill scholarly curiosity and critical thinking in budding researchers. Led by the Dean Research and FPM Chair, the session provided valuable insights into the importance of research in academic and professional growth. Participants were introduced to contemporary research practices, tools, and ethical considerations, laying a strong foundation for future academic inquiry in management disciplines.

The interactive nature of the session encouraged participants to question conventional frameworks, explore interdisciplinary approaches, and appreciate the real-world impact of rigorous research. With live examples, case-based discussions, and a walk-through of published studies, the session bridged theory with practice—demystifying research as not just a PhD pursuit, but a lifelong lens for problem-solving and innovation in the management world.
