Amid the serene hills of Mussoorie and Chakrata, where nature’s tranquility met the spirit of collaboration, student leaders from Jaipuria Institute of Management’s Indore and Noida campuses gathered for a transformative Joint Student Leadership Meet from 19th to 21st August 2024. The meet was designed to inspire strategic thinking, cross-campus unity, and a shared vision for building a vibrant student culture.
Opening Session
The program commenced at Mussoorie, where Dr. Subhajyoti Ray, Director of Jaipuria Institute of Management, Noida, and Dr. Deepankar Chakrabarti, Director of Jaipuria Institute of Management, Indore, addressed the student leaders. Their talks emphasized the importance of cultivating the right culture and preparing for the responsibilities and challenges of leadership.
Formation of Cohorts
The retreat was structured around seven cross-campus cohorts, each representing key clubs and committees:
Pathway Pioneers: Career Management Committee, Program Management Committee
Engage & Elevate: Cultural & Creativity Committee, Event Management Committee
Outreach Orbit: Media Relations Committee, International Relations Committee, Alumni Relations Committee, Admission Committee
Vitality & Virtue: Sports Committee, Student Welfare & Discipline Committee
Trailblazers: Centre of Excellence for Entrepreneurship Development
BizOps: General Management Club, Operations Management Club, Business Analytics Club
Core Dynamics: Human Resource Club, Marketing Club, Finance Club
Each cohort was tasked with specific objectives a month before the meet, fostering teamwork and preparation of comprehensive presentations.
Presentation Guidelines
The presentations were structured to ensure clarity and strategic alignment, covering:
Mission and Vision: Clearly articulate the purpose of each club or committee.
Achievements: Showcase past milestones and ongoing initiatives.
Challenges and Solutions: Identify key challenges and propose innovative approaches.
Cross-Campus Collaboration: Highlight opportunities for synergy between campuses.
Goals and Strategies: Define measurable objectives and actionable plans for the year ahead.
These presentations sparked meaningful discussions and encouraged the exchange of innovative ideas to strengthen the student ecosystem across campuses.
Experiential Learning at Chakrata
The second phase of the meet was held at Chakrata, where Dr. Rekha Attri, Dean of Student Affairs, Jaipuria Indore, and Dr. Rohan Bhalla, Faculty at Jaipuria Noida, facilitated experiential learning sessions. Through structured activities, the student leaders enhanced their skills in collaboration, trust, communication, and problem-solving. Trekking in the serene mountains offered additional lessons in endurance, adaptability, and overcoming challenges together.

The meticulous planning of Mr. Rahul Bairagi, Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) of Jaipuria Indore, ensured smooth execution throughout the program.
This Joint Leadership Meet not only strengthened cross-campus connections but also empowered student leaders with practical skills, renewed vision, and a strong foundation to shape an inclusive and growth-driven culture at Jaipuria Institute of Management.
