Career Sarthi Session: Guiding Students Towards Purposeful Careers | 21^st December 2024

On 21st December 2024, Office of Student Affairs at Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow, organized an enlightening session as part of its club activities. The session featured Mr. Shrey Sao, who delivered an engaging talk on the theme: "Career Sarthi: Choose a Path That Resonates with Who You Are." It was well organized under the guidance of Dr. Rashmi Chaudhary (Dean: Student Affairs). 

The session aimed to provide students with a structured approach to self-discovery, enabling them to align their career choices with their personal strengths, aspirations, and values.

Key Highlights of the Session

Mr. Shrey Sao discussed the importance of Understanding Yourself. He emphasized the importance of introspection, urging students to recognize their unique strengths and align them with their beliefs and aspirations as a foundation for meaningful career decisions.

Further, he discussed Choosing Careers Wisely. The Students were encouraged to prioritize careers that resonate with their authentic selves, steering clear of external pressures and fleeting industry trends.

He also talked about Focus on Evergreen Skills. The session also underscored the enduring value of evergreen skills, such as communication, adaptability, and emotional intelligence, which play a crucial role in achieving sustained success.

He talked about Working on Soft Skills. A significant portion of the session was devoted to refining soft skills, regarded as pivotal for professional and personal growth.
