Dr. Abhinav Srivastava, is an accomplished marketing academic and former corporate leader whose career reflects a rare blend of industry expertise and academic excellence. With over 15 years of leadership experience in sales, marketing, and business development, followed by a successful transition into academia and research, he has made significant contributions to both the corporate and academic worlds.

Professional Journey

After completing his MBA from Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow in 2001, Dr. Srivastava embarked on a distinguished corporate career with some of India's leading automotive and financial services organizations, including Tata Motors, Tata Motors Finance, Escorts Construction Equipment, and LML.

Over the course of his industry tenure, he held several leadership positions such as National Sales Manager, Associate Vice President, and Head of Dealer Development & Marketing Services. His responsibilities spanned sales strategy, rural market development, channel management, product marketing, dealer network enhancement, and business growth initiatives across diverse markets in India. Through these roles, he developed deep expertise in building high-performing teams and driving sustainable business growth.

Academic and Professional Contributions

Driven by a passion for learning and knowledge creation, Dr. Srivastava transitioned to academia and earned his Ph.D. in Marketing from the Vinod Gupta School of Management, IIT Kharagpur. Since then, he has been associated with reputed academic institutions, contributing to management education through teaching, research, and mentoring.

His scholarly work has been published in internationally recognized journals such as the Journal of Business Research, Journal of Strategic Marketing, Asia Pacific Journal of Marketing and Logistics, and Marketing Intelligence & Planning. In addition to his research contributions, he serves the academic community as a reviewer and editorial board member for several peer-reviewed journals.
