With more than two decades of experience in the Indian insurance sector, Mr. Prashant Raj has established himself as a distinguished leader in operations, digital transformation, and customer experience excellence. Currently serving as the Head of Business Operations at Generali Central Life Insurance, Mumbai, he has built an impressive career across some of India’s leading insurance organizations including Generali, Bandhan Life, Edelweiss Life Insurance, Tata AIA, and Bajaj Allianz. Throughout his professional journey, he has consistently led large-scale operational transformations, combining technology, strategy, and customer-centric thinking to create high-impact business solutions. 

Widely regarded for his expertise in operational innovation, Mr. Raj has been among the early contributors to digital-first transformation initiatives within the insurance industry. He has successfully spearheaded projects involving paperless customer onboarding, automated underwriting, mobility-driven sales ecosystems, distributor engagement platforms, and process automation frameworks that significantly improved efficiency and customer experience. Several of the digital platforms and mobility solutions led by him received strong adoption across organizations, including applications with thousands of user downloads and high user ratings. His leadership has also extended to managing large operational teams, strengthening governance systems, optimizing turnaround times, and driving cross-functional collaboration between business, operations, and technology teams.
