Mr. Gaurav Tripathi (PGDM–HR, Batch 2007–2009, from Noida) embodies the spirit of reinvention that defines modern leadership. With over 15 years of cross-functional experience, he has journeyed from being a dynamic HR leader to an entrepreneur, consultant, Chief of Staff, and today, the Vice President – Solar Business at Agastya Energy, part of the BN Group. He also believes in giving back to alma mater, he is the current President of JIMNAA and an active recruiter taking in over 200 students over the years.

In his current role, he is spearheading the establishment of a multi-GW solar cell and module manufacturing plant while leading the EPC division with full P&L responsibility—driving strategy, execution, and large-scale transformation in India’s fast-growing renewable energy sector.

Before stepping into the clean-energy domain, Mr. Tripathi shaped people strategies for respected organizations such as Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail, Godfrey Phillips, Gionee, and LOTS Wholesale Solutions. His entrepreneurial stint in the healthcare sector, coupled with consulting assignments in culture and organization transformation, further strengthened his ability to build scalable systems and lead with agility.

A graduate of Jaipuria Institute of Management and an alumnus of ISB’s General Management Program, he blends strategic thinking with sharp operational insight—making him a rare leader who understands both people and business deeply.
