On the night of December 23, 2023, Hotel Marriott, Lucknow had its own star system as our esteemed alumni descended upon its party lawn to partake in the magic of "Samyantar-23," the annual alumni meet. Picture this: over 150 alumni, each a shining star in their own right, rekindled the spirit of camaraderie, relived cherished memories, reconnected with old batch mates, and rejoiced in the legacy of their institute.

The atmosphere crackled with energy, laughter, and the joyous hum of conversations. Dr. Anupam Saxena welcomed all the alumni and thanked them for making time to join for the evening, he then read a heartfelt message from The Director Dr. Kavita Pathak, who couldn’t join due to health reasons.

JIMAA took the opportunity to honor and celebrate its alumni in serving society and excelling in their respective fields. The prestigious "Alumni Association Award" of 2023 was bestowed upon the following further cementing the legacy of excellence that defines our alumni community.

• Dr. Divya Chowdhry (B. 2000-2002) for "Academic Excellence".
• Mr. Prashant Kumar Sinha (B. 2002-2004) for "Corporate Excellence".
• Mr. Garvit Tiwari (B. 2007-2009) for "Entrepreneurship".
• Mr. Shobhit Tandon (B. 2012-2014) for "Social Services".

Furthermore, in its commitment to support, inspire, and bridge the gap between current students and the alumni community, JIMAA, last year, initiated a scholarship program for final-year students. This prestigious scholarship is awarded to three outstanding students annually. In continuation of this tradition, this year's scholarship has been conferred upon the following deserving recipients:

1. Mr. Adiya Jaiswal
2. Mr. Aditya Singh
3. Mr. Rachit Tambi

Our very own constellation of talent, presented the melodious performances by Ms. Shanvee Kaur, Mr. Vikas Verma, and Mr. Anurag Srivastava, of current batch, added a musical note to the evening, even Mr. Tushar Mishra from 2021-2023 batch joined in to add a flavor.

The festivities continued with a symbolic cake cutting. The party then transitioned to the open floor, where alumni from the batches of 1995-1997 to the latest 2021-2023 reveled in the joy of reconnecting. For our seasoned alumni, it was a trip down memory lane. Meanwhile, for the newer members of our alumni family, it was an enchanting introduction to an event they had heard about during their two-year sojourn on campus.

As we look back on this magical night, we anticipate the glow of these memories to linger and inspire for years to come”, said Mr. Sanjay Arora, current President of Alumni Association.
