Jaipuria Institute of Management, Indore, kickstarted Day 1 of JaiUtsav 2025 with a vibrant and energetic inauguration. The event was graced by Chief Guests Mr. Rajesh Dandotiya, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police – Crime Branch, Indore, and Mr. Prashant Singh Bhadoria, SDOP, Sanwer. They were welcomed by Dr. Deepankar Chakrabarti, Director, and Dr. Rekha Attri, Dean of Student Affairs. With balloons soaring high and confetti filling the air, the campus transformed into a lively celebration of creativity, sports, and culture.
The cultural and creative events were a feast for the senses. Janchetna (Nukkad Natak) saw passionate performances addressing important social issues, leaving the audience deeply moved. Meanwhile, Kalakriti brought out the artistic brilliance of students as they showcased their skills in sketching, painting, and mandala art. Adding to the creative buzz, Chehre Pe Chehra (Face Painting) turned participants into human canvases, with colorful and imaginative designs adorning their faces.
On the sports front, adrenaline ran high as students competed in cricket, basketball, football, and volleyball, drawing loud cheers from the crowd. Alongside these high-energy matches, indoor games like chess, carrom, and table tennisprovided a perfect blend of strategy and skill. Players showcased their focus and precision, making the competition intense and thrilling.
The event also provided a platform for budding entrepreneurs through the Business Plan Competition. Students pitched their innovative business ideas to a panel ofesteemed judges who not only evaluated their plans but also provided valuable insights and guidance. This event encouraged students to think creatively, refine their strategies, and gain a deeper understanding of the startup ecosystem.
Food lovers were in for a treat at Chota Chappan, where the aroma of delicious street food filled the air. Inspired by Indore’s famous Chappan Dukan, the stalls served a variety of spicy chaats, sizzling snacks, and sweet delights, making it the perfect spot for students to take a break and indulge in mouth-watering flavors.
Adding to the thrill, a biker stunt showcase was one of the major highlights of the day. Talented bikers were invited to perform breathtaking stunts, leaving the audience in awe with their precision, speed, and daring moves. The roaring engines and adrenaline-pumping tricks made this event a true crowd-puller, bringing an extra dose of excitement to JaiUtsav 2025.
Another exciting addition was the Bawarchi event, where students turned into master chefs and showcased their culinary talents. Participants prepared a variety of dishes, which were then served at dedicated food stalls. The event saw enthusiastic students experimenting with flavors and presentations, making it a delightful experience for both the participants and food lovers on campus.
As the evening progressed, the Battle of Bands took the stage, filling the atmosphere with electrifying music. Various bands from different colleges performed live, mesmerizing the audience with rock and indie music. The crowd swayed, clapped, and sang along, making it a thrilling musical experience that added another level of excitement to JaiUtsav 2025.
Following the musical extravaganza, the Bodybuilding Showcase took center stage, where fitness enthusiasts and bodybuilders displayed their strength, dedication, and sculpted physiques. With dazzling poses and incredible muscle definition, the participants left the audience stunned with their hard work and discipline. This event highlighted the importance of fitness and perseverance, inspiring students to embrace a healthier lifestyle.
The excitement continued with Mudra, a high-energy dance event that featured group performances, solo acts, and duet dances. Dancers set the stage on fire with their expressive moves, powerful rhythms, and electrifying energy, making it one of the liveliest and engaging parts of the day.
The grand finale of Day 1 was the much-anticipated Fashion Show, where participants walked the ramp with confidence, elegance, and creativity. Dressed in stunning outfits and themed ensembles, they mesmerized the audience with their style and charisma. With dazzling lights, energetic music, and enthusiastic cheers, the fashion show was the perfect way to wrap up the day’s celebrations.
The celebrations concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, where winners from all the events held throughout the day were honored. The stage was filled with excitement and joy as participants received their well-deserved awards, recognizing their talent, dedication, and competitive spirit.
