Makar Sankranti Celebration | 14th January 2025
On 14th January 2025, Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow, embraced the festive spirit with a grand Makar Sankranti celebration. It was well organized by the Office of Student Affairs & Cultural Committee, under the guidance of Dr. Rashmi Chaudhary (Dean: Student Affairs) and Dr. Anjali Tiwary (Faculty Coordinator: Cultural Committee) and was well coordinated by Ms. Anushka Agarwal (Student Coordinator: Cultural Committee) with support of all the Senior Members and Junior Representatives.
The celebration was graced with the presence of Dr. Kavita Pathak (Director), Dr. Rashmi Chaudhary (Dean: Student Affairs), Dr. Sushma Vishnani (Dean: Academics). The event brought together faculties, students, and staffs for a day filled with joy, culture, and vibrant festivities.
The highlight of the event was the kite-flying competition, where participants painted the sky with colorful kites, creating a mesmerizing sight. The lawn area buzzed with excitement as students cheered and competed, embracing the festive spirit. To add to the cultural charm, attendees were encouraged to wear traditional attire, making the celebration even more vibrant and picturesque.
The festival was further enriched with the sharing of traditional delicacies like til-gud laddoos and chikki, symbolizing warmth and togetherness. The event truly captured the essence of Makar Sankranti - ushering in positivity, unity, and new beginnings.
The celebration concluded with heartfelt laughter, shared memories, and the spirit of togetherness, making this Makar Sankranti an unforgettable experience for the Jaipuria family.
