Jaipuria Institute of Management, Jaipur, effectively organized an International Training Program on "Livelihood Promotion through Self-Employment at the Grassroots Level" on March 29, 2025. The event drew 35 participants from various nations, including Ethiopia, Ghana, Liberia, Malawi, Morocco, Nigeria, Rwanda, South Sudan, Uganda, and Zambia.

 

The participants were greeted with heartfelt hospitality, featuring garlands and the traditional "Tika" ritual. The program commenced with a prayer to Goddess Saraswati, creating an inspiring atmosphere for a meaningful educational journey. Dr. Tina Jain, Chairperson of MDP, Training & Consultancy at Jaipuria Institute of Management, Jaipur, extended a warm welcome to the esteemed guests and attendees, highlighting the value of international cooperation.

 

Key sessions were delivered by Mr. Girish Kumar Sharma, Assistant Director, MSME Development & Facilitation Office, Jaipur, Ministry of MSME, Government of India, who facilitated engaging discussions on Entrepreneurship in the Small Business/MSME Sector – Challenges and Opportunities and Grassroots Level Innovation and Entrepreneurship. His thorough and hands-on approach equipped participants with essential skills and strategies to successfully execute and assess self-employment initiatives at the grassroots level.

The training concluded with a closing ceremony, during which participants received certificates acknowledging their successful participation. Attendees commended Jaipuria Institute of Management, Jaipur, for its outstanding hospitality and the wealth of knowledge imparted throughout the program.

 

The event was coordinated by Kuldeep Raiwar, Assistant Manager, Executive Education and Consultancy, Jaipur campus.
