Workshops on Career Opportunities in Different Industry Sectors 

at Jaipuria Institute of Management, Jaipur | November 2024 - January 2025

The Career Management Centre (CMC) at Jaipuria Institute of Management, Jaipur, organized a series of workshops to guide students on career opportunities in various industries. These sessions featured industry experts sharing valuable insights and practical advice to help students make informed career decisions.

The first workshop, held on 8th November 2024, focused on Career Opportunities in Financial Services. Mr. Arvind Bhargava, Ex-Joint Assistant Vice President at Rajasthan, discussed emerging opportunities in the financial services market and the importance of certifications like NISM VA, NISM XA, and IRDA. He also highlighted essential tools for financial analysis such as MS Excel, Pivot Tables, and Power BI.

On 27th November 2024, Mr. Sankalp Gupta, Vice President at Accenture, conducted a session on Career in Finance. He provided an overview of various finance paths like Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, and Private Equity, emphasizing the importance of bridging academic learning with industry demands.

On 7th January 2025, Mr. Manan Tholia from Celebal Technologies led a workshop on Career Opportunities in Analytics. He stressed the importance of MS Excel, soft skills, and certifications, encouraging students to gain practical experience through internships and projects to build a successful career in analytics.

The final workshop on 15th January 2025, Career Opportunities in Sales, featured Mr. Puneet Gulati from Hershey’s. He shared insights into the sales domain, emphasizing how sales experience can pave the way for leadership roles. Key skills such as communication, strategic thinking, and relationship management were also discussed.

These workshops provided students with practical knowledge, helping them align their academic learning with industry needs and explore career opportunities in finance, analytics, and sales.
