The International Relations Committee (IRC) of Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow, hosted its much-anticipated Intercontinental Conclave 2025 on 24th September 2025, based on the theme “Corporate Diplomacy: The Role of New Business Leaders in International Affairs.” The conclave brought together eminent academicians, industry leaders, faculty members, and students for an engaging session that emphasized the growing importance of diplomacy in business leadership and global collaboration.
The event commenced with the traditional lamp lighting ceremony in the presence of faculty dignitaries, symbolizing knowledge and wisdom, followed by the presentation of Green Certificates as a mark of Jaipuria’s commitment to sustainability. The inaugural address was delivered by Prof. Pallavi Srivastava, PAN Campus Dean – International Relations, who highlighted how corporate decisions increasingly intersect with international policy and diplomacy, urging future leaders to expand their global outlook.
The speaker sessions featured a distinguished line-up. Prof. P. K. Joshi, School of Environmental Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University, delivered a talk on “Corporate Diplomacy and Environmental Sustainability,” stressing the need for responsible leadership in addressing climate change and resource scarcity.
Prof. Anshu Joshi, Centre for the Study of the Americas, JNU, spoke on “The Role of Business in Public Diplomacy and Soft Power,” underlining how corporations influence global perceptions and narratives. Dr. Parag Agarwal, Entrepreneur & Founder of JanaJal, addressed “Ethical Leadership and Stakeholder Engagement in the Digital Age,” emphasizing innovation, inclusivity, and integrity as drivers of corporate impact.
An interactive Q&A session allowed students to engage with the panellists on leadership, diplomacy, and sustainability. The conclave also celebrated winners of pre-conclave competitions—“Beyond the Script” (debate) and “Bargain of Nations” (diplomatic simulation).
The event concluded with memento presentations by Prof. Pallavi Srivastava, Prof. Nishtha Malik (Co-Chair IRC & Faculty Coordinator), and Prof. Ajay Jha (Member IRC & Faculty Coordinator), followed by a Vote of Thanks from Prof. Kajal Srivastava, Chairperson IRC.
The conclave left a lasting impact, reinforcing Jaipuria’s mission to nurture globally aware, socially responsible business leaders.
