Brandpreneurs Summit 1.0: The House of Brands

On 20th March, the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Cell at Jaipuria Institute of Management, Jaipur, in collaboration with Link Agent, successfully hosted the Brandpreneurs Summit 1.0: The House of Brands. The event brought together industry leaders and aspiring entrepreneurs to discuss brand-building, business strategies, and the entrepreneurial journey. It served as an insightful platform for students to gain real-world perspectives from Vishal Jalani, Founder, Brown Sugar, Featured in the 40 Under 40 List; Samyak Jain, Co-founder, Crazy Coffee, and Daisy Tanwani, Founder, Shopdaisie, with the session being moderated by Ms. Vidhika Gupta.
The summit commenced with the traditional lamp lighting ceremony, followed by a warm welcome from Dr. Ansita Aggarwal, Chairperson, IEC. The distinguished speakers shared valuable insights based on their personal experiences. Vishal Jalani emphasized the importance of clarity in business, staying focused despite market trends, and fostering strong employee relations. Samyak Jain highlighted the significance of understanding the core product, building a trustworthy and adaptable team, and leveraging technology for sustained growth. Daisy Tanwani addressed the challenges of sustainable fashion, pointing out that while consumers demand sustainability and quality, they often hesitate to pay extra for it, making true sustainability in the fashion industry a distant goal.
The event also featured an interactive Q&A session, where students actively engaged with the panelists, asking thought-provoking questions about entrepreneurship, overcoming challenges, and market adaptability. The insightful discussions helped them gain a deeper understanding of the entrepreneurial mindset. The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Shubham Singhania, Co-Chairperson, IEC, expressing gratitude to the esteemed guests and acknowledging the efforts of the IEC Committee in organizing a valuable learning experience. With such initiatives, Jaipuria Institute of Management continues to nurture future business leaders by fostering industry-academic collaboration and equipping students with practical entrepreneurial insights.
