On 5th January 2026, Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow inaugurated Winter School 2026 – Expanding Research Capabilities: A Deep Dive into Research Methods. The inaugural session started with the auspicious Lighting of the Lamp, symbolising the pursuit of knowledge and academic excellence. This is the first-ever PAN Campus Winter School organised by Lucknow, Noida, Jaipur and Indore Campuses, hosted by Lucknow Campus.

The ceremony was graced by the Chief Guest, Prof. M. P. Gupta, Director, IIM Lucknow, as the “Chief Guest”, along with esteemed Deans, faculty members, FPM scholars, and participants joining both offline and online. The inaugural address highlighted the importance of rigorous research methodologies, advanced analytical tools, and impactful publications in contemporary academia.

The session set a purposeful tone for the programme, marking the beginning of insightful discussions and intensive research engagement in the days ahead.

Following the inaugural session, Day One of Winter School 2026 continued with focused academic sessions on Data Collection and Cleaning, along with Hypothesis Development and Approach to Testing by Dr. Jogendra Kumar Nayak, Professor, Department of Management Studies, IIT Roorkee.

The sessions provided participants with practical insights into data accuracy, research design, and hypothesis formulation, complemented by hands-on activities. These discussions strengthened methodological clarity and laid a strong foundation for rigorous empirical research in the days ahead.
