The Student Development Council (SDC) of Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow, displayed their creativity and organizational skills with a dazzling 'Spring Festival' on 6 February, 2024.
The Spring Festival was memorable in every bit of it. The atmosphere buzzed with excitement, a plethora of entertaining games, lively music, and delectable treats from the city's top vendors entertained the guests. The event commenced with an engaging introduction that united everyone, evoking a sense of excitement and belongingness. We take you through the several interesting games that were lined up in the evening.
The Frostbite Challenge
The first activity, 'The Frostbite Challenge', put participants' teamwork and survival skills to the test in an Arctic environment. Challenged to construct a shelter in the frigid wilderness, teams faced hurdles like a leader afflicted by frostbite and others blinded by snow. Effective communication and collaboration were pivotal in guiding the team towards triumph.
The Spring Scavenger Hunt
Following the thrilling Frostbite Challenge was 'The Spring Scavenger Hunt', where students grouped together to hunt for concealed spring-themed cutouts around the venue. Each discovery garnered points, while uncovering non-spring cutouts led to point deductions. Driven by enthusiasm, students collaborated to explore every corner in their quest for victory.
Band Night Extravaganza
As night descended, anticipation soared for the event's highlight - Band Night. AVYUKT, a band from Delhi, dazzled the audience with a mesmerizing performance that promised to be an unforgettable experience for all. An array of mouthwatering food choices, from Paneer Chhola Kulcha to Belgian Chocolate Ice Cream, kept everyone energized throughout the festivities.
Dr. Rashmi Chaudhary, the Dean of Student Affairs, offered invaluable guidance, while Mr. Aditya Jaiswal, the President of SDC, and Simrat Kaur, the Vice President of SDC, efficiently managed the event.
The winners of games are as follows:
- 'The Spring Scavenger Hunt' : Winner – Team scavengers (Devanshi Gaur, Anjali Pandey and Kunal Soni)
- 'The Frostbite Challenge' : Winners – Team R2P2 (Riya Singh, Riya Mishra, Priyanshi Patel and Padmani Singh)
