Finance club of Jaipuria Institute of Management, Indore under guidance of Dr. Nupur Gupta has recently organized a workshop on "Treasury and Risk Management" by Mr. Venugopal Rajamanuri, a respected expert in the subject of Treasury and Risk Management in banking. With participation from Batch 2023–25, this session aims to equip participants with the specialized knowledge and practical skills they need to succeed in the financial industry. His deep insights and extensive industry experience gave participants a valuable perspective on navigating the complexities of today's financial markets. 

Distinguished expert Mr. Venugopal Rajamanuri, who has 40 years of experience in the BFSI sector, led the sessions with remarkable knowledge and real-world expertise. His extensive background in insurance, banking, and finance enriched the training, offering valuable perspectives and hands-on solutions to complex financial challenges. 

In this session, various key topics were covered through a comprehensive and interactive approach, addressing critical aspects of modern financial management. The discussion included the role and importance of treasury in corporate finance, along with exploring liquidity management, cash flow optimization techniques, and investment management and funding strategies. Additionally, the fundamentals of risk management were addressed, including the identification of different types of financial risks—market, credit, operational, and liquidity risks—as well as the assessment of risk exposure and the development of effective risk assessment frameworks. 

Students gained a deeper understanding of complex financial concepts, which also contributed to their career advancement, professional networking, and provided inspiration and motivation. The workshop concluded with a quiz to test participants’ grasp of the covered concepts, where the highest scorer received a certificate of merit. An interactive Q&A session followed, allowing attendees to clarify their doubts and gain additional insights from the expert.
