The Rajasthan Development Dialogue 2.0,

On November 29th, 2024, Jaipuria Institute of Management, Jaipur, in collaboration with PHDCCI Jaipur, conducted the 8th Annual Seminar Rajasthan Development Dialogue 2.0 on the theme "Viksit Rajasthan: Marching towards 350 Billion Dollar Economy." The session featured insightful addresses by Sh. Vasudev Devnani, Honourable Speaker of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly, Dr. S. P. Sharma, Chief Economist at PHDCCI, and Dr. R. K. Gupta, Resident Director of PHDCCI Rajasthan Chapter. The speakers emphasized the transformative potential of innovation, sustainability, and education in achieving a developed Rajasthan.
The session "Transforming Agriculture and Food Processing for a Sustainable Future" explored the modernization of agriculture and food processing to boost economic resilience. Dr. Ramesh Mittal, Former Director of NIAM, Aishwarya Kumar Goyal, Founder of Fidelo Farms Private Limited, and Mukesh Gupta, Chief Editor of Hello Kisan Forum, provided strategic insights into sustainable farming, technology integration, and farmer empowerment.
Simultaneously, the session "Transforming Tomorrows with Technology and AI" focused on the role of Artificial Intelligence in shaping Rajasthan’s future. Saksham Gupta, Founder & CEO of Edubild, Dr. Tarun Taunk, Director of Informatic Computech Private Limited, and Raj Kumar Verma, Director of Software Technology Park of India, shared perspectives on AI-driven advancements in education, governance, and infrastructure development. The student-driven session "Amplifying the Power of Student Voices for a Brighter Future" highlighted innovative ideas from Jaipuria Institute of Management’s PGDM students. Abhijeet Singh, Mitali Agarwal, Mayank Vijay, Yashpal Singh Chauhan, and Anushka Sahay from Batch 2024-26 presented forward-thinking solutions addressing sustainability and local cultural preservation, under the moderation of Dr. Aparna Mendiratta.
Post-lunch, the session "Building a Greener Tomorrow through Sustainable Practices" emphasized eco-friendly approaches to development. Dr. Sapna Narula and Dr. Oum Kumari R. discussed renewable energy, waste management, and community-driven sustainability initiatives. Concurrently, "Pioneering Wellness and Healthcare for a Better Tomorrow" brought attention to preventive healthcare and public-private partnerships with contributions from Abhudaya Sharma, Dr. Vinod Kumar Garg, and Dr. Rajesh Sinha.
The session emphasized preventive healthcare, public-private partnerships, and awareness campaigns.
The session "Shaping the Future with Empowered Young Leaders" explored the pivotal role of youth in driving transformative change. Gaurang Singhal, CEO of Nature Windows, Raghav Kabra, Chief Operating and Innovation Officer at Raghav Productivity Enhancers Ltd., Ayushman Falod, Director of Blackstone Foodcraft, and Paresh Gupta, Founder & CEO of GCEC Global Foundation, shared strategies for fostering mentorship, entrepreneurship, and skill development among young professionals, with Paresh Gupta moderating the discussion.
In "Elevating the Tourism Sector to New Horizons," V. S. Shekhawat, Secretary of the Association of Domestic Tour Operators of India, Jitendra Singh Rathore, CMD of Royal Desert Safaris Pvt. Ltd., and Balendu Singh, owner of Hotel Dev Vilas, discussed sustainable tourism practices that balance economic growth with heritage conservation.
The session "Unlocking Investment and Business Opportunities" brought insights from Rajendra Bhanawat, Former MD of RIICO, Naresh Sharma, GM (R) at the Bureau of Investment Promotion, and Dr. Ansita Aggarwal, focusing on entrepreneurship, investment-friendly reforms, and skill development. "Pioneering the Future of Fintech Innovation" concluded the sessions with Sanjay Singh Rajawat, CEO of Wonder Home Finance Ltd., Abhijeet Saxena, CEO of MyRupaya, and Dr. Santosh Kumar discussing financial inclusion, startup ecosystems, and technology-driven financial solutions.
The event concluded with a valedictory session, featuring Guest of Honor Vimal Katiyar, Partner at Veekay Plast, and coordinated by Dr. Varun Chotia and Dr. Shubham Singhania. This session reflected on the conference's key takeaways of sustainability, innovation, and collaboration, leaving students inspired to contribute to Rajasthan’s inclusive and sustainable growth journey.
