Introduction
Talaash’25, the flagship event of Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow, brought together creativity, strategy, and leadership in a three-day festival of intense learning and spirited competition. Held from 7th to 9th July 2025, the event series offered a rich blend of activities designed to nurture managerial skills, innovation, and holistic development among students.
Day 1 – 7th July 2025
The opening day featured three intellectually stimulating events aimed at testing students’ analytical, creative, and leadership skills.
1. The Opposite Angle
A debate competition that emphasized spontaneous thinking and articulation. Participants, with minimal preparation, debated diverse perspectives—promoting critical reasoning, empathy, and confident public speaking.
2. Decode & Deliver: The AI Icebreaker
A modern twist to traditional problem-solving, this event combined AI-based riddles with poster design challenges. Participants used tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and Canva, encouraging creativity, collaboration, and digital fluency.
3. Best Manager
A multi-round challenge that placed students in crisis scenarios to assess their decision-making, communication, leadership, and ethical judgment under high-pressure conditions.
Day 2 – 8th July 2025
The second day focused on applying theoretical knowledge in practical simulations with a strong competitive edge.
1. Drawasaurus: Draw It & Get It
A creative guessing game where teams illustrated and identified brands, movies, and food items. The event highlighted teamwork, creativity, and intuitive thinking.
2. Negotiators Nexus – Round 1
Teams engaged in strategic bidding for brand elements using virtual capital. This round tested their negotiation skills, valuation understanding, and ability to make data-driven decisions.
3. Market Madness: Supply & Demand Challenge
A real-time marketplace simulation where students acted as buyers and sellers. The activity deepened understanding of pricing strategies, market dynamics, and supply-demand behavior.
Day 3 – 9th July 2025
The final day was a confluence of strategic presentations, quick decision-making, and expressive performance.
1. Negotiators Nexus – Round 2
Teams developed and pitched brand revival strategies based on their previous day's bids. The round tested their grasp of brand positioning, strategic thinking, and persuasive presentation.
2. DeciStorm
A case study competition where participants tackled real-world business problems and responded to an unexpected twist introduced just 30 minutes prior. It encouraged problem-solving, adaptability, and teamwork under pressure.
3. Stage & Stride
An expressive event combining corporate skits and a formal ramp walk, concluding with a rapid Q&A round. This segment celebrated confidence, creativity, and the power of presentation in professional settings.
Special Feature: Business Orientation Project (OIP ‘25)
Conducted alongside Talaash’25 on 9th July 2025, the Business Orientation Program featured entrepreneurial pitches from the incoming Batch of 2025–27. Participants presented a variety of innovative business ideas, including food ventures, home service solutions, cafés, consulting, and printing businesses.
