On 12th April 2025, Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow had the honor of hosting the Silver Jubilee Reunion of the Batch of 1998–2000. The event organiZed by Alumni Relation Cell brought together over 40 distinguished alumni, who returned to their alma mater to rekindle old memories, celebrate collective achievements, and reaffirm their enduring bond with the institute.
The festivities commenced with a traditional welcome marked by greetings and Tilak, followed by the presentation of commemorative T-shirts and mementoes. Alumni were then invited to a casual get-together over light refreshments, providing an early opportunity for nostalgic conversations and heartfelt reconnections.
The celebration continued in the auditorium, where the formal proceedings began. The student anchors set a gracious and nostalgic tone with their opening remarks, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp—a symbol of knowledge and enlightenment—led by Dr. Kavita Pathak (Director, Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow), Dr. Anupam Saxena (Chairperson, Alumni Relations), and esteemed former faculty members Prof. Payal Mehra and Prof. Pankaj Kumar, former faculty member Dr. Mridula Goel, along with other alumni who were unable to attend in person, joined the event virtually.
A solemn moment of reflection followed, as the audience observed a Minute of Silence in memory of batch mates who are no longer with us—a heartfelt tribute honoring their lives and legacies.
Dr. Kavita Pathak then delivered the Welcome Address, reflecting on the remarkable journey and accomplishments of the institute over the years. Her remarks were followed by deeply emotional and insightful speeches from faculty members. Prof. Payal Mehra reminisced about the legacy and impact of the batch, highlighting their invaluable contributions to the institute’s growth and their professional milestones. Prof. Pankaj Kumar shared fond memories and anecdotes from the batch’s time at Jaipuria, evoking smiles and warmth across the room. Dr. Mridula Goel, who joined via Zoom, expressed her delight at being part of the celebration and shared enriching reflections from her tenure at the institute.
A dedicated segment titled “Where Our Alumni Are Today” showcased the impressive and diverse professional journeys of the batch. From leadership roles in the corporate world to impactful work in entrepreneurship, public service, and academia, the achievements of the alumni stood as a testament to the institute’s lasting influence.
The evening was further enlivened by a series of vibrant cultural performances by the student cultural team. These included soulful and spirited contributions by Mr. Gautam, Ms. Deepa, and Ms. Kusum of batch 1998-2000, which were met with enthusiastic applause and heartfelt appreciation.
As the formal part of the program concluded, Ms. Reena Goyal, alumna 1998-2000, delivered the Vote of Thanks, extending sincere gratitude to the alumni, faculty members, organizing team, and support staff for their dedication and contributions in making the event a memorable success.
The celebration concluded with a leisurely lunch, offering further opportunities for informal interaction, storytelling, and rekindling of lifelong friendships.

Dr. Mridula Goel and other alumni who couldn’t attend in person joined virtually.
A Minute of Silence was observed in remembrance of batch mates no longer with us—a poignant tribute to their lives and legacies.
