From the vibrant city of Ranchi, Jharkhand where dreams take flight and ambitions thrive, a young couple – Saurav Verma and Karishma Gupta, nurtured a dream.  Fueled by an unwavering determination and an unquenchable thirst for success, they set forth on a collective journey to turn their shared aspirations into reality.

Saurav, who was born into a humble service-class family, pursued schooling from St.Thomas School, Dhurwa. Upon graduating, he set his sight on higher education, which brought him to Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow. It was within the hallowed halls of JIM-Lucknow, that he honed his skills to emerge as a force to be reckoned with.

Armed with MBA, Saurav’s new chapter in life began with Tata McGraw Hill Education. He delved deep into the realm of education, and with more experience and knowledge in hand, he joined Next Education Pvt Ltd as Area Manager.  He swiftly climbed the ladder of success and got appointed as Zonal Manager in Digichamps, where he orchestrated triumphs that resonated far and wide.

However, the dream forge his own path continued to linger in his mind. It was this burning desire that gave wind to his aspirations and he took the big leap. At the peak of his career, he decided to start his own business. Married to fellow Jaipuirian Karishma Gupta (in 2017), he found the biggest support in his life partner.

In 2018, Saurav and Karishma took the leap of faith and unveiled their first venture, Tokri Megamart – a  super-mart that soon became a haven for shoppers of Ranchi.
Buoyed by the resounding success of his maiden venture, Saurav's set his sight on a new horizon - the fitness industry. This led to the birth of a family-owned fitness centre - 'Fitness First'. This too captured the nerve of Ranchites and stepping into Fitness First became a health symbol.

Yet, Saurav's appetite for exploring more business opportunities refused to be quelled. Guided by his unwavering passion for gastronomy and hospitality, Saurav researched and forging connections in the industry. He found his new passion in Moti Mahal. He obtained a franchise of the fine dining restaurant chain. The restaurant kicked off operations in February 2023 at Ranchi's Argora. Moti Mahal is now the go-to point for food enthusiasts for its exquisite flavours and impeccable service.

Saurav's extraordinary journey is a testament to his nine and a half years of unwavering dedication, leadership, and expertise in the realms of B2B and franchising.
Today, Saurav stands as an epitome of inspiration, his entrepreneurial ventures leaving an indelible impression on the hearts and minds of aspiring business owners. Through his story, he exemplifies the transformative power of hard work, strategic planning, and an unwavering passion for creating opportunities.

Karishma Gupta

Saurav’s wife, Karishma too nurtured a desire to excel in life. 
Karishma's academic journey began at St. John's School in Varanasi followed by higher education at Vasanta College of Women, affiliated to Banaras Hindu University (BHU) and capped it graduation in Commerce.
To unlock greater opportunities to fulfil her dreams, she enrolled at Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow, where she pursued MBA in Finance, Marketing and Banking from 2011 to 2013.
She began her professional career as a Deputy Managing Director and specialised in finance and credit analysis. But, like Saurav she too felt an entrepreneurial spirit stirring within her.
Their connections culminated with marriage in 2017 and continued to pursue her career in finance sector while supporting Saurav in his endeavours.
