Sangam 2025 – An Annual Alumni Sports Meet | 16^th March 2025

On 16^th March 2025, Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow hosted Sangam 2025 – Annual Alumni Sports Meet, a thrilling celebration of sportsmanship, teamwork, and camaraderie. The event was collaboratively organized by the Alumni Relations Committee and Sports and Wellness Committee under the guidance of Dr. Anupam Saxena (Chair, Alumni Relations Committee) and Dr. Hemendra Gupta (Chair, Sports and Wellness Committee) and was well coordinated by Ms. Muskan Bansal (Student Coordinator, Alumni Relations Committee) and Mr. Saransh Gupta (Student Coordinator, Sports and Wellness Committee). Faculty, staff, and alumni came together to participate in various sporting events, making the day memorable and engaging.

CRICKET TOURNAMENT

The cricket tournament was a major highlight of Sangam 2025, where alumni, faculties, and staff clashed in a thrilling contest. The event saw participants of two alumni teams and one team of Jaipuria, where two winning teams marched into finals. The matches were filled with energy and enthusiasm, showcasing teamwork and the competitive spirit of the Jaipuria community.

BADMINTON TOURNAMENT

The badminton tournament saw exciting participation from both male and female players. There were a total of 5 rounds which had 3 group stages and further semi-finals and Finals. Alumni, Faculties, and staff displayed exceptional skill and agility, making each match an intense yet enjoyable experience.

TABLE TENNIS TOURNAMENT

Fast-paced and engaging, the table tennis tournament featured thrilling rallies and competitive gameplay. It had a single-player match where best best-performing participants aced through several rounds and emerged as a winner. Participants showcased remarkable precision and reflexes, making it one of the most exciting events of the day.

CHESS TOURNAMENT

The chess tournament tested the strategic acumen of the participants. The event had 4 rounds comprising 1 group stage, 1 quarter, and then semi-finals and finals. Alumni, Faculty, and staff engaged in intense battles of intellect, demonstrating critical thinking and tactical gameplay.

CARROM TOURNAMENT

The carrom tournament brought a mix of nostalgia and excitement as participants aimed for precision and control. The event went through 4 rounds which comprised of round 1, round 2, and further semi-finals and finals.  The matches were engaging, with players displaying great focus and accuracy.

BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT

The basketball tournament was an exhilarating event where teams competed with high energy, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The vent was 3x3 half-court matches which saw the participation of 1 alumni team, 1 senior team, and 1 junior team. The fast-paced matches kept the audience engaged, reflecting the strong camaraderie within the Jaipuria community.

FELICITATION CEREMONY

The event concluded with a felicitation of the day's best performers in the presence of Dr. Anurag Mohan (Senior Manager - Alumni Relations Committee) and Ms. Komal Pandey (OSA). The ceremony celebrated the winners and acknowledged all participants for their dedication and spirited performances.
