SAHYOG: Building Stronger Teams Through Collaboration-JIM Lucknow

On 10 October 2026, the Student Welfare and Disciplinary Committee at Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow, organised SAHYOG – A Team-Building Event under the guidance of Dr. Rashmi Chaudhary, Dean – Student Affairs. The event was coordinated by Mr. Omesh Srivastava (OSA Staff), with the support of the administrative team, and was graced by the presence of Dr. Rashmi Singh, Chair – Hostel & Mess Committee.

Designed to promote teamwork, collaboration, and interpersonal bonding, SAHYOG brought students together through a series of interactive and engaging activities. The programme featured challenges such as Blow the Water, Pick the Cone, Innovative Mazze, Passing Line, and Tug of War, each encouraging participants to think creatively, communicate effectively, coordinate their efforts, and work collectively towards a common objective.

Beyond the excitement of the activities, the event provided students with an opportunity to appreciate the importance of trust, mutual understanding, and shared responsibility in achieving team goals. The activities encouraged participants to step beyond their individual roles, support one another, and approach challenges with a spirit of cooperation. The healthy competition also added to the enthusiasm, creating an atmosphere of energy, participation, and camaraderie.

SAHYOG reflected the importance of experiential learning, where valuable lessons emerge not only from structured academic sessions but also from shared experiences and collective problem-solving. By bringing students together in an informal and engaging environment, the initiative helped foster stronger peer connections and reinforced the value of collaboration in campus life.

The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony recognising participants for their enthusiasm and achievements, followed by closing remarks and a Vote of Thanks. The concluding session celebrated the spirit of participation and the collective efforts that contributed to the event's success.

Through SAHYOG, Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow, reaffirmed its commitment to nurturing a collaborative and inclusive campus environment where students can develop essential life skills alongside their academic learning. The event reinforced a simple yet enduring message: strong teams are built on trust, strengthened through communication, and driven by a shared purpose.
