On the 79th Independence Day, 15 August 2025, Jai-Care, the Social Responsibility Committee of Jaipuria Institute of Management, Indore - in collaboration with the Robin Hood Army (RHA), organized a large-scale food distribution drive in the Talawali Chanda slum area. The initiative was aligned with Sustainable Development Goal 2: Zero Hunger, with the objective of ensuring that underprivileged families received essential nutrition, care, and encouragement.

A dedicated team of 35 student coordinators actively participated in the event, distributing food, study materials, and chocolates to children, thereby creating a warm, joyful, and supportive atmosphere. The volunteers ensured orderly and respectful distribution, reflecting a deep sense of empathy and professionalism. The drive was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Ghanshyam Pandey, Chairperson of Jai-Care, whose leadership ensured smooth planning, seamless coordination, and meaningful community engagement.

This initiative showcased Jai-Care’s unwavering commitment to fostering empathy, teamwork, and a strong culture of social responsibility among students. By extending support to underserved communities such as Talawali Chanda, the committee not only addressed immediate needs but also inspired sustained participation in humanitarian causes. Events like this stand as a testament to how collective effort, when guided by compassion and purpose, can contribute significantly to building a more caring, inclusive, and equitable society.
