International Women's Day Celebration

On 7th March, the Social Responsibility Committee at Jaipuria Institute of Management, Indore, organized a heartfelt event to celebrate International Women’s Day, honoring the invaluable contributions of female faculty members and staff. The occasion was a beautiful blend of appreciation, joy, and camaraderie, highlighting the essential role women play in shaping lives and institutions.

The celebration began with committee members personally distributing invitation cards to all female faculty members and staff, ensuring their presence for this special day. The event was inaugurated by Dr. Deepankar Chakrabarti (Director), who delivered an inspiring speech celebrating the strength, resilience, and achievements of women. He emphasized the importance of acknowledging and appreciating the efforts of female staff and faculty members who work tirelessly to create a nurturing learning environment. Following his speech, Dr. Ghanshyam Pandey (Chairperson, Social Responsibility Committee) took the stage to further honor the contributions of women in education and beyond, reinforcing the commitment of Jaipuria Institute of Management towards gender equality and empowerment.

Each faculty and staff member were warmly welcomed with a rose and chocolates, bringing smiles to their faces as they stepped into the celebration. The roses symbolized admiration and respect for their hard work, while the chocolates added a sweet touch to the moment. This simple yet heartfelt gesture made them feel truly appreciated, setting a warm and cheerful tone for the event.

A cake-cutting ceremony followed, where faculty members and staff gathered in a moment of joy and unity. To add a musical touch to the celebration, students and committee members performed soulful songs dedicated to the hardworking women of the institute, filling the atmosphere with warmth and appreciation.

Keeping the spirit of fun and togetherness alive, the event featured engaging games such as musical chairs and the spoon lemon race, exclusively for female faculty and staff members. Laughter and excitement filled the venue as participants enthusiastically took part in the games, making the celebration even more memorable.
 

As a token of gratitude, special gifts were distributed to all female faculty members and staff, recognizing their unwavering dedication to making students' lives better. Their efforts, often unnoticed, were rightfully acknowledged and celebrated.

The event concluded on a delightful note with a spread of delicious snacks, ensuring that every guest left with a smile. The Social Responsibility Committee was proud to have organized an event that not only celebrated the essence of womanhood but also reinforced the values of respect, recognition, and gratitude.
