On August 23, 2025, students of Jaipuria Institute of Management, Indore had the opportunity to visit VeganPro Nutrients Pvt. Ltd., an organization pioneering innovation in vegan food manufacturing. The visit was organized under the leadership of Dr. Deepankar Chakrabarti, Director Sir, with the involvement of Dr. Sharad Chaturvedi, Dr. Vinayak Vishwakarma. It aimed at connecting academic learning with practical industry exposure, preparing students for the emerging future of business.  

Guided by Mr. M. K. Vishwkarma, General Manager of VeganPro Nutrients, the students explored multiple aspects of business operations. Key learnings included operations excellence with advanced production technologies, HR strategies for workforce planning and engagement, supply chain agility aligned with consumer demand, and financial insights into cost structures, pricing, and competitor benchmarking. The importance of quality certifications like ISO 22000, Halal, and FSSC 22000, along with export requirements such as HACCP compliance, was also emphasized as critical for accessing international markets.  

This industrial visit provided students with valuable exposure to the integration of classroom concepts into real-world business practices. By observing how operations, HR, supply chain, and finance converge to create business excellence, students gained a holistic understanding of management practices. Additionally, the discussions highlighted the growing importance of vegan manufacturing as a sustainable and consumer-driven industry.

The experience not only enhanced academic learning but also encouraged entrepreneurial and innovative thinking among the students. It reinforced Jaipuria’s vision of developing future-ready leaders equipped with strategic foresight, industry insights, and a sense of social responsibility.
