Lucknow : The 18th National Conference on Interdependence, Integration, and Co-creation (IIC) 2024 got underway at Jaipuria Institute of Management Lucknow on Friday, February 23, 2024 with the aim of providing a platform for new ideas and unraveling the complexities of Industry 5.0.

The thought-provoking two-day conference, themed "Industry 5.0: Opportunities & Challenges," gathered industry leaders, academics, researchers, and students. Collaboration ensued to exchange insights, delving into the multifaceted dimensions of Industry 5.0. Keynote presentations, panel sessions, and workshops aimed at addressing both, the challenges and opportunities, that accompany this transformative era.
 

Senior Director at BNY Mellon, Sushila Kapoor, attended as chief guest; Director-Google India, Bhaskar Ramesh and Co-Founder, Zaystack Intellizence, Tarun Malik were the keynote speakers of the first day.

“When internet innovation took a toll and started knocking on the door, we saw vast possibilities of mass customisation of backward and forward integration of the supply chain. There were a lot of views in seeking the scope of cocreation of value with the customers and the channel partners. Sushila Kapoor said, "I would focus on the financial aspects of some of the industry trends that we see currently in the world economies of some countries. They have officially declared recession, Japan, UK and US being some of them, Consumption has actually gone up this year. We expect that we asset rates in the US will be brought down. So, most banks will be focusing more and increasing their fee-based exam because it is not likely to be as high as in the previous years.”

For organizations who want to stay competitive, focusing as well as investing in the latest technology is imperative. As new technologies emerge, being relevant and staying ahead is the key. The new challenges today are paving the way for us to identify more opportunities to grow and evolve.

Three unique workshops on Unleashing Human Potential-Navigating the Future with HR Excellence, Mastering Financial Insight-A Deep Dive into Analytics Excellence, and on Elevating Marketing Success were organised on the first day of the conference for the budding managers of Jaipuria Lucknow.
 

Day 2 was filled with a stream of panel discussions by experts.

CTO, Metawork Dubai and Jaipuria Lucknow Alumnus 1997, Pawan Pandey; Director (Technology Consulting) at PWC India,  Kousik Maiti; President- Indian Industries Association (IIA), Vikas Khanna and Chief Innovation Officer, Noise, Monish Salhotra were among the eminent panelists of the discussion on Future of Manufacturing for Sustainable Growth.

Industry 5.0 Founder Michael Rada, Founder, IBCSD LAB Company; and. Mayank Sisodia, Founder, The Honest Home Company, Shark Tank Funded Eco-Warrior and Jaipuria Lucknow Alumnus 2010 were the feature speakers on the second day of 18th IIC conference. A cultural performance by students of Jaipuria Institute of Management Lucknow added some light moments to the panel discussion.
