Over the past decade, Dr. Richa Srivastava has emerged as a distinguished faculty member at Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow, contributing significantly to the institute's academic, research, and scholarly ecosystem. She serves as Assistant Professor in Operations and Decision Sciences, teaching courses such as Statistics for Management, Business Research Methods, and Operations Research. Her classroom approach is marked by analytical rigor, practical relevance, and a focus on developing critical thinking skills among future managers.

She has Ph.D. (UGC NET+JRF) in Statistics from Banaras Hindu University and possesses a strong foundation in Statistical Inference, Bayesian Statistics, Operations Research, Machine Learning, and Business Research Methods. Her academic journey reflects a deep engagement with quantitative analysis and data-driven decision-making, enabling students and researchers alike to navigate increasingly complex business environments.

She has held multiple academic leadership and administrative positions in the institute. She served as Chairperson of the PGDM (Financial Services) programme during 2022–24. She has also contributed as Co-Chair of the Fellow Programme in Management (FPM), Co-Chair Area and Secretary of the Faculty Council. These responsibilities reflect her commitment to institutional development and academic governance.

Her research papers have been extensively published in reputed refereed journals indexed in Scopus/ WoS and ABDC. She has also published book chapters. Her scholarly contributions include studies on Bayesian parameter estimation, reliability modelling, pandemic-induced workplace stress, technological disruptions and sustainable consumer behaviour. She has also delivered an invited talks in international conferences of Bayesian statistics. Her research excellence has earned recognition within the academic community. 

 She has successfully organized and led several national-level academic programs, including AICTE-sponsored ATAL Faculty Development Programs on Fundamentals of Operations Research and Advanced Business Analytics, with significant funding and wide national participation. She has also conducted academic conclaves and doctoral colloquia, fostering research dialogue and capacity building among faculty and scholars across institutions. 

In recent years, her research has expanded into contemporary areas such as green consumer behaviour and sustainability-focused marketing, reflecting her ability to connect rigorous quantitative methods with emerging societal and business challenges. Her work on green cosmetic consumption and consumer behaviour demonstrates the interdisciplinary impact of her research.
