Currently serving as Professor of Operations Management, Dr. Jha joined Jaipuria Institute of Management in June 2021 and has since played a significant role in strengthening academic excellence, research culture, and student development. Through his blend of scholarly rigor and practical insight, he has contributed meaningfully to preparing future managers for the complexities of modern business environments.

Dr. Jha's professional journey is marked by a unique combination of industry and academic experience spanning nearly three decades. Before entering academia, he worked with leading organizations in engineering, consulting, and manufacturing, gaining valuable expertise in operations, maintenance, safety audits, sales planning, and organizational processes. This rich industry exposure continues to enhance the practical relevance of his teaching and research.

An alumnus of the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur, Dr. Jha holds both a Ph.D. in Logistics, Materials and Supply Chain Management and an M.Tech. in Industrial Engineering, in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. His strong academic foundation has enabled him to develop expertise across Operations Management, Operations Research, Mathematical Modelling, Statistical Analysis, Supply Chain Management, and Decision Sciences.

Over the years, Dr. Jha has established himself as a respected researcher with contributions in areas such as supply chain performance, open-source innovation, Industry 5.0, circular supply chains, sustainability, and manufacturing systems. His research has been published in reputed academic journals and continues to contribute to emerging conversations around operational excellence and sustainable business practices.
