Dr. Vranda Jain, Associate Professor of Economics at Jaipuria Institute of Management, Noida, completes a remarkable 10-year journey with the institute this year. An academician, interdisciplinary researcher, and policy expert, she brings over 15 years of rich experience across academia and government research bodies.

During her tenure, Dr. Jain has significantly contributed to both teaching and research. Her academic leadership extends beyond the classroom, with her previous role as Deputy Director (Research) at the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), Ministry of Education, where she played a key role in advancing India’s social science policy agenda.

A passionate trainer and thought leader, she has conducted programs for the Royal Government of Bhutan, Tata Trent, and PMAID on subjects like Circular Economy, Market Competition, and Government Budgeting. She is also a key member of the Incubator Seed Management Committee under the Start-Up India Seed Fund Scheme.

Dr. Jain has an impressive research portfolio, with publications in top-tier journals such as Technological Forecasting and Social Change, The TQM Journal, and Computers & Industrial Engineering. Her work spans diverse themes including Sustainable Development, Industry 4.0, Global Value Chains, and Socio-Economic Policy.
