We are thrilled to announce the success of the Management Development Program on ‘Business Analytics in the Age of Generative AI’, held on December 20-21, 2024, at Jaipuria Institute of Management, Indore. Designed for Junior to Senior-Level Corporate Executives, this two-day program brought together around 20 participants in online and offline modes, offering a transformative journey into the evolving realm of business analytics and AI.

Day 1 began with a warm welcome address by Dr. Nupur Gupta, Chairperson MDP, followed by an insightful session on ‘Understanding AI and Embracing Gen AI’s Creativity’, led by Dr. Deepankar Chakrabarti, Director, Jaipuria Institute of Management, Indore. The day progressed with Mr. Sunil Kappal, moderated by Dr. Manohar Kapse, sharing applications of generative AI in business, exploring tools, and emerging trends. Then, Dr. Pooja Kushwaha delved into ‘Leveraging Data Insights for Data-Driven Decisions’ and ‘Embedding Gen AI in Modern Excel, Power BI, and Office 365’, combining practical tools with real-world applications.

Day 2 featured immersive sessions starting with ‘Prompting AI Tools for Generating Insights’, conducted by Dr. Pooja Kushwaha. This was followed by an engaging ‘Data-Based Case Analysis’ session by Mr. Avinash Ojha, allowing participants to work on real-world scenarios. The session continued with Dr. Kushwaha leading a discussion on ‘GenAI for Data Storytelling’ and strategies for ensuring ethical AI use in managerial contexts.

The program concluded with a Valedictory and Certificate Distribution Ceremony, led by Dr. Nupur Gupta, celebrating the achievements and participation of the attendees. The event not only emphasized theoretical knowledge but also provided hands-on training, empowering participants to decode generative AI and leverage it for strategic business decisions.
 

This program at Jaipuria Institute of Management, Indore, was a significant step in fostering AI-savvy leaders, equipping them with the skills and insights necessary to navigate the future of business analytics and innovation.
