On 10th March 2026, the Marketing Club of the Domain Forum Committee at Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow organized an exciting event titled “Stock & Strike – The Market Showdown” as part of Samanvaya 3.0. The event was conducted in the presence of faculty members Dr. Reeti Agarwal and Dr. Omjee Gupta, whose guidance added valuable academic perspective to the activity.
Designed as a dynamic market simulation, the event challenged participating teams to step into the role of marketing professionals and product strategists. Each team was tasked with pitching its product to a distributor while simultaneously navigating market realities such as competition, pricing decisions, demand considerations, and profitability targets.
Participants had to think strategically about positioning their products, convincing the distributor of their market potential, and developing effective sales strategies to maximize acceptance and profitability. The exercise required teams to balance creativity with commercial logic, mirroring the real-world challenges faced by marketing and sales professionals.
The event provided students with a hands-on platform to apply core marketing concepts such as value proposition, negotiation, pricing strategy, and market positioning. Through intense competition and thoughtful deliberation, participants gained a deeper appreciation of how successful market strategies are built through analysis, persuasion, and strategic decision-making.
The enthusiastic participation of students and the insightful presence of faculty members made the event both engaging and intellectually enriching. Activities like Stock & Strike – The Market Showdown reflect Jaipuria’s commitment to experiential learning, enabling students to bridge the gap between theoretical frameworks and practical business challenges.
