On 19 February 2026, Jaipuria Institute of Management, Indore organized the Faculty and Staff vs Students Cricket Match at the Institute’s Cricket Ground. The event was conducted by the Sports Committee with the objective of fostering sportsmanship, teamwork, and meaningful engagement between faculty, staff, and students beyond the academic environment. The match generated an atmosphere of enthusiasm and healthy competition, with active participation and spirited support from the campus community.
The Students’ team set a formidable target, posting 186 runs in 10 overs. The innings was marked by exceptional performances from Tanmay Agrawal, who scored 61 runs off 16 balls, and Devanshu Tiwari, who contributed a brisk 54 runs off 12 balls. Their commanding batting display proved instrumental in securing victory for the Students’ team.
In response, the Faculty and Staff team, supported by Mr. Rahul Bairagi and Mr. Ayush Joshi, demonstrated determination and resilience while chasing the challenging total, ultimately scoring 129 runs. Mr. Ayush Joshi delivered an outstanding innings of 63 runs off 20 balls and was adjudged Man of the Match in recognition of his exceptional performance.
The match concluded successfully with appreciation from participants and spectators alike. The initiative reinforced the values of unity, mutual respect, and healthy competition while offering a refreshing break from routine academic schedules. Overall, the event reflected the Institute’s continued commitment to promoting holistic development, campus engagement, and a vibrant community culture through sports and extracurricular activities.
