On 9th January 2026, Dr. Prabhat Pankaj, Director (Academics), conducted an academic engagement session with the Dean (Research), PAN Campus FPM Chair, FPM Chairpersons, FPM Scholars, and members of the Research Team as part of the Institute’s academic engagement series. During the interaction, Dr. Pankaj engaged with FPM scholars to encourage a strong research culture and extend guidance and support throughout their research journey. He emphasized the importance of timely progression in research and shared valuable insights into the academic and professional journey of FPM scholars.

Dr. Prabhat Pankaj also conducted a dedicated session for FPM scholars titled “Happiness and Research.” The session was well received by the participants, who appreciated the perspectives shared on maintaining balance between academic responsibilities and personal well-being. The discussion highlighted various dimensions of happiness and the significance of mindfulness in sustaining motivation and productivity in research.

Maintaining a healthy work–life balance is particularly crucial for researchers, who often navigate prolonged periods of intellectual rigor and pressure. A balanced approach enables scholars to manage stress effectively, prevent burnout, and sustain long-term engagement with their research. By prioritizing personal well-being alongside academic commitments, researchers can enhance creativity, maintain clarity of thought, and achieve consistent progress in their scholarly pursuits.
